A graduate of the École Centrale de Lyon and with a master's degree in management and logistics from Essec, he was in charge of coordinating the Freight restructuring plan from 2002 to 2004. He was appointed Director of Paris Nord station from 2005 to 2007, then Chief of Staff to the Chairman of SNCF in 2007. He worked successively with Anne-Marie Idrac and Guillaume Pepy. From 2008 to 2012, he was Director of RER lines D and R and Director of the Paris Sud-Est region. In 2012, Alain Krakovitch was appointed Managing Director of Safety and Quality of Rail Service, before becoming Director of Transilien in 2014.
At the head of TGV-INTERCITÉS for 6 years from 2020 to 2026, Alin Krakovitch ensured the growth of our high-speed offer and laid our first foundations in a competitive market in France and Europe. He will take up the position of Director of Equipment in May 2026.
