    Direct links for passengers

    Batch A Poitou-Charentes is based on six lines that structure everyday journeys across the region, from the Angoulême and Poitiers TGV hubs to the Charente coast.

    • L12 - Angoulême - Poitiers - Châtellerault
    • L13 - Bordeaux - Angoulême
    • L14 - Poitiers - Niort - La Rochelle
    • L15 / L15+ - Bordeaux - La Rochelle - Saintes - Rochefort - Royan / Bordeaux - Saintes - Royan
    • L16 / L16+ - Angoulême - Saintes - Royan / Angoulême - Saintes - La Rochelle
    • L17 - Niort - Saintes - Royan

    Passengers will be able to enjoy direct daily services between Bordeaux and Royan, with no change at Saintes.

    Improved quality of service for passengers

    In practical terms, this new service will change three things for passengers in the Poitou-Charentes region:

    • improved connections with the TGV and regional rail services, making it easier to reach Paris, Bordeaux or Nantes from stations in the region;
    • extended timetables, so you can leave earlier in the morning and return later in the evening, and take advantage of more evenly-spaced frequencies in the middle of the day;
    • more places available in the most popular slots, with guaranteed capacity at peak times and contractual penalties for non-compliance.
