    Updated on 16 July 20243-minute read

    From Paris to Marseille, via Lille and Châteauroux... To enable you to reach the various competition venues and host cities, we are stepping up our transport offer to match the event schedule. And this, thanks to the availability of all our capacities and trains.

    This unprecedented offer contributes to a 100% public transport service to the competition sites. A first for such an event. This includes:

    • Transilien trains on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités, which will take you to many of the competition venues throughout Île-de-France;
    • Long-distance trains, TGV INOUI, OUIGO and INTERCITÉS, so you can attend the competitions in Île-de-France as well as throughout France in all the host cities;
    • TER trains on behalf of the regions allowing you to travel to the host cities in the Paris region as well as in the provinces.

    Transilien, an unprecedented mobilization

    When you think of a major event, you think of an exceptional number of visitors and travelers. We've got everything you need to travel to Paris, Île-de-France or the regions for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

    • As the majority of the events are taking place in the Île-de-France region, we are implementing a tailor-made transport plan on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités to ensure 100% public transport service to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games;

    • And to achieve this, we have put in place a transport plan adapted to the timetables of the events and the expected passenger flows, with 4,500 additional trains that will be in circulation compared to a usual summer.

    Adaptations for the regions

    Whether on the TGV INOUI, INTERCITÉS or TER trains, certain timetables and frequencies are adjusted to suit the date and duration of the events you will be attending outside the capital. For example:

    • The timetable of the morning INTERCITÉS train, departing from Paris and heading for Châteauroux, is being adapted to enable you to be present from the first shooting event;

    • The TGV INOUI train on the Paris-Lille route is having some of its timetables modified so that you don't miss either the start or the end of the basketball and handball matches ;

    • The schedule for the last TGV INOUI train of the day, on the Marseille-Paris route, has been adjusted to allow you to see the sailing events and soccer matches through to the end.
