    Your payment deadlines

The infringement notice constitutes a proposal for a penal transaction, in accordance with articles 529 et seq. of the French Code of Criminal Procedure. By settling within the legal time limit of 3 months, you avoid being prosecuted.

After 3 months, the official report is forwarded to the public prosecutor. You will then be liable for an increased fixed fine of between €180 and €375.

The offence of habitual fraud is punishable by 6 months' imprisonment and a €7,500 fine. Habitual fraud is deemed to have been committed if, over a period of 12 months or less, the person concerned has been convicted of more than 5 tickets for travelling without a ticket or with an invalid or incomplete ticket, which have not resulted in a settlement under article 529-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure. If you have given a false identity, the intentional declaration of a false address or identity is punishable by a fine of €3,750.

    You have a complaint
