How can I take advantage of the pupil, student and apprentice fare?

To benefit from discounts on your journeys, you must first submit an application to register your entitlement. This must be done using a form available online from the Ministry of Transport.

Once your application has been approved (within 6 working days), you will receive a certificate to print out, which you must present when purchasing your ticket or travel pass at the station, as well as on board the train. You may also be asked to show proof of identity.

Are you travelling on the TGV INOUI or INTERCITÉS?

Please bring your certificate and the fully completed booking form ; purchase your tickets at the Pupil-Student-Apprentice (EEA) fare exclusively at the station, in batches of at least 10tickets¹ for journeys to be made up to 60 days from the date of purchase.

To exchange your tickets, please go to a station to do so at the ticket office or at a self-service kiosk.

For further information, you can download the WEEE guidance document from the initiative’s homepage, which has been published online by the Ministry of Transport.

1 flat rate based on the distance travelled.
