TGV INOUI

Your baggage and lockers
Here you will find all the information you need to pack your baggage properly on board TGV INOUI. If you do not comply with the baggage policy, you will have to pay an additional cost.
To remember
You simply need to be able to carry all your luggage yourself in one go.
Labelling your baggage with your name and mobile phone number is compulsory. We can provide you with baggage tags, which you can obtain from our staff at the station and on board.
Travel with suitcases

You can take up to 2 items of baggage per person, labelled to a maximum size of 70 x 90 x 50 cm (suitcase, large rucksack, hiking bag, sports bag) and 1 item of hand baggage labelled to a maximum size of 40 x 30 x 15 cm (rucksack, shopping bag, laptop bag).
Travel with special luggage

You can take with you, per person, up to 1 item of baggage labelled to a maximum size of 70 x 90 x 50 cm (suitcase, large rucksack, hiking bag, sports bag), 1 item of special baggage labelled to a maximum size of 90 x 130 x 50cm (pushchair, folded scooter, musical instrument in labelled case, pair of skis in labelled cover, waterboard or snowboard in labelled cover, folding wheelchair) and 1 item of hand luggage labelled to a maximum size of 40 x 30 x 15 cm (rucksack, shopping bag, computer bag).
Details on special baggage
You can take your pushchair with you, as long as it is folded (maximum 90 x 130 x 50 cm when folded).
For safety reasons, the pushchair must be stored in a baggage area and not left on the platforms or in the passageway.
You may take your scooter on board, whether electric or not, provided it is folded (maximum dimensions of 90 x 130 x 50 cm when folded). We recommend using a carry bag.
From 13th December 2026, scooters with a seat, those with more than two wheels, those that do not fold, or those with tyres wider than 6 cm will be prohibited on board.
To ensure the safety of passengers and our staff, folded scooters must be carefully stowed in the luggage compartments. They must never be placed in the luggage compartments above the seats.
For safety reasons, due to the potential danger involved, it is prohibited to recharge the batteries – even when removed – of any type of motorised personal mobility device (bicycles, scooters, etc.) on board trains. Failure to comply with this ban may result in a fine of €150.
Motorised personal mobility devices (scooters, etc.) are prohibited on board trains travelling to or from Spain.
You can take your own pair of skis with you, as long as they are carried in a specially labelled bag.
There is no size limit for skis, but each traveller may only take one pair.
You can take your wakeboard or snowboard with you, as long as it's carried in a specially labelled bag measuring no more than 90 x 130 x 50 cm.
You can take your musical instrument with you, as long as it is carried in a specially labelled case (preferably rigid) measuring no more than 90 x 130 x 50 cm.
The equipment used by the disabled person during the journey is not considered as luggage.
However, any additional equipment used by the disabled person (crutches or cane or walker or oxygen tank or folded wheelchair, etc.) is considered as baggage and must measure a maximum of 90 x 130 x 50 cm.
Ever lighter!

Travel with your bike

You must reserve a space for your bike when you buy your train ticket. The cost is €10 per bike per journey.
If you are travelling with an unassembled, unfolded bicycle, you can take up to 1 piece of labelled luggage per person, measuring no more than 70 x 90 x 50 cm (suitcase, large rucksack, hiking bag, sports bag), 1 labelled double bicycle bag and 1 piece of labelled hand luggage measuring no more than 40 x 30 x 15 cm (rucksack, shopping bag, computer bag).
For safety reasons, due to their potentially hazardous nature, it is prohibited to recharge, on board trains, the batteries – even if removed – of any type of motorised personal mobility device (bicycles, scooters, etc.).

If you are travelling with a folded or dismantled bicycle in a labelled bag, you can take with you, per person, up to 1 folded or dismantled bicycle in a labelled bag measuring no more than 90 x 130 x 50 cm, 1 labelled double bicycle bag and 1 item of labelled hand luggage measuring no more than 40 x 30 x 15 cm (rucksack, shopping bag, computer bag).If your bike can be dismantled, it must be taken apart and placed in a labelled bag before accessing the platforms. If your bike is foldable, you can carry it by hand and fold it near your car.
The rules for a folded or dismantled bicycle in a bag also apply to TGV INOUI trains from and to Spain, Italy, Belgium, Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), Luxembourg, to TGV INOUI and ICE trains from and to Germany with DB SNCF Voyageurs in cooperation and to TGV Lyria trains (Switzerland).
Not all bicycles are accepted on board TGV INOUI trains. Recumbent bicycles, tricycles, tandems, cargo bicycles, longtails, trailers, bicycles transported in a box and any bicycle whose dimensions are greater than those of a conventional bicycle are not authorised.
From 13 December 2026, bicycles with overall dimensions exceeding those of a standard bicycle – i.e. a maximum length of 185 cm and a tyre width of 6 cm – as well as fatbikes, bicycles with more than two wheels, Segways and hoverboards will be added to the list of bicycles prohibited on board.
To reserve or not to reserve?
Reserving a seat for an unmounted bike is only available on certain TGV INOUI trains. If your search does not return any results at the time of booking, this means that there are no more places available for your bike. Folded or dismantled, stored in a bag (maximum 90 x 130 x 50 cm), it does not need a reserved seat.
Failure to comply with the baggage policy on board TGV INOUI trains may result in the payment of a minimum of €50 per item of non-compliant or excess baggage (maximum €150).
Failure to comply with the ban on recharging the batteries of EDPMs (electric motorised mobility devices) on board TGV INOUI France and Europe and TGV Lyria trains may result in payment of the sum of €150.
