SNCF Voyageurs strengthens its TGV INOUI summer service to the mountains
05/21/25 - This summer, SNCF Voyageurs is boosting its TGV INOUI service to the Tarentaise valley. From July 12 to August 10, 2025, an additional round trip will be offered every weekend between Paris Gare de Lyon and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, adding 5,000 seats to enable even more travelers to reach the summits. These trains will serve Paris Gare de Lyon, Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux, Albertville, Moûtiers Salins Brides-les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne, Landry and Bourg-Saint-Maurice stations.

05/20/25 - On Tuesday May 20, the Board of Directors of Île-de-France Mobilités voted to award SNCF Voyageurs the L line linking Paris Saint-Lazare to Versailles Rive Droite, Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche and Cergy-le-Haut.

06/05/25 - As part of a labor action, train and RER traffic will remain disrupted on Wednesday May 7, 2025, on some of the lines operated by Transilien SNCF Voyageurs for Île-de-France Mobilités. Traffic is expected to return to normal on Thursday May 8, 2025.

OUIGO continues to expand with new lines and new trains
24/04/25 - On Thursday, the first OUIGO trainset with a new interior design was unveiled at Paris Gare de Lyon. With its greater carrying capacity, its arrival is part of OUIGO's development plan to reach 30% of the high-speed market by 2030, thanks to 30% more traffic and 30% more trainsets.

SNCF Energie and JP Energie Environnement sign contract for direct purchase of green photovoltaic electricity in France
04/14 - SNCF Energie, a subsidiary of SNCF Voyageurs, and JP Energie Environnement (JPee) announce that on April 1, 2025, they have signed a 20-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement for the direct purchase of renewable electricity. Through this long-term commitment, JP Energie Environnement will supply SNCF Energie with around 32.4 gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable electricity per year.
Line H's Impressionist Train returns from Saturday, April 5
01/04/25 - #CPASLOINENTRAIN, the local tourism offer from Transilien SNCF Voyageurs and Île-de-France Mobilités, offers from April 5 to October 26, 2025, the chance to escape with Line H by spending a day or a weekend in Auvers-sur-Oise. The Line H Impressionist Train is a "special train" that allows you to travel without connection on weekends and public holidays between Paris Gare du Nord and Auvers-sur-Oise, in less than 45 minutes. New this year, the Impressionist train runs from April onwards, one month longer than last season.

03/31/25 - The direct TGV INOUI high-speed link between France and Italy resumed on March 31, 2025, with 3 daily round trips between Paris, the Alps, Turin and Milan, thanks to the reopening of the rail section damaged by the landslide in the Maurienne valley since August 2023. The reopening of this section is a significant step forward, strengthening cross-border links and promoting the development of sustainable transport between the two countries and in Europe.

11/03/25 - Supported by the French government via ADEME (Agence de l'Environnement Et de la Maîtrise de l'Énergie) and SGPI (Secrétariat Général Pour l'Investissement), the TGV M project has benefited from the know-how of Alstom's and SNCF Voyageurs' leading experts since its launch in 2016, bringing them together on the same platform as part of an unprecedented innovation partnership.

Transilien SNCF Voyageurs launches recruitment for 2025
10/02/25 - Transilien SNCF Voyageurs will be recruiting more than 800 new staff this year, including 400 train and RER drivers, 200 station customer relations staff, 150 qualified train maintenance technicians and supervisors and managers.
To enable the Cathedrals Bridge to be launched, traffic to and from Gare du Nord will be significantly reduced from Friday February 14 to Monday February 17, and from Friday February 21 to Monday February 24: passengers are advised to postpone their journeys.
29/01/25 - Extensive work is to be carried out to replace a railway bridge dating from 1894, located in the commune of Saint-Denis (93) and integrated into the rail network of the Northern Ile-de-France corridor. This will lead to a significant reduction in traffic on the RER B and D lines, the H and K lines, and the Paris-Laon and Paris-Beauvais TER trains. The RER B and D interconnection will be interrupted at Paris Nord station, and no RER D trains will run between Paris Gare du Nord and Paris Gare de Lyon. 01/28/25 - At the end of 2024, IPSOS and SNCF Voyageurs launched a major national survey on the "leisure and cultural" behavior and expectations of French train passengers. Just a few days before the Angoulême Comic Strip Festival, of which SNCF Voyageurs is a partner, the main findings of this first-ever study are revealed.

The new-generation RER NG has arrived on the RER D line
18/12/24 - The fourth generation of RER rolling stock, the RER NG, is now being installed on the RER D line. This rolling stock marks a further milestone in the ongoing modernization of this line, used by more than 630,000 passengers every day, and will enhance passenger comfort and the transport of more passengers.

Paris-Berlin and Paris-Vienna night trains: bookings and services resume
16/10/2024 - Reservations for the Paris-Berlin and Paris-Vienna night trains, which were temporarily suspended due to infrastructure work on the German and French networks, are now available for travel from November 11, 2024 to the end of February 2025.
Tickets are on sale on the ÖBB website: nightjet.com.
From December 15, 2024, the days on which the Paris-Berlin/Vienna night train runs will change.
There will still be 3 round trips per week:
- Vienna / Berlin - Paris will run on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Closure of the Paris-Lyon high-speed line from November 9 to 12, 2024: SNCF Voyageurs adapts its TGV transport plan
16/10/2024 - In order for SNCF Réseau to prepare the commissioning of the new signalling system on the Paris-Lyon High Speed Line, the line will be closed for 4 days, from November 9 to 12, 2024. As a result, SNCF Voyageurs is adapting its transport plan for TGVs on the entire Sud axis.
TGV INOUI, OUIGO AND INTERCITÉS open their sales for the end-of-year vacations and launch new destinations
09/30/24 - On October 2, TGV INOUI, OUIGO and INTERCITÉS opened reservations for travel between December 15, 2024 and January 8, 2025 (until July 4, 2025 for OUIGO Grande Vitesse).
Certain international destinations (Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the UK and the Netherlands) are already open until March 30, 2025.
On this occasion, the long-distance offer will be enriched with, among other things, a new INTERCITÉS line and the return of certain seasonal routes.
From October 25 to 27, traffic to Gare du Nord will be severely reduced due to work to replace a railway bridge over the RER B and D tracks.

09/13/2024 - SNCF Réseau is carrying out a large-scale test campaign on Saturday September 21, in preparation for the deployment of the future signaling and points control system in the Paris-Est sector. These operations, which will run non-stop for 24 hours, will have an impact on traffic on TER Fluo Grand-Est, RER E and Line P. SNCF Voyageurs and Île-de-France Mobilités advise passengers to postpone their journeys. TGV INOUI trains will depart from and arrive at Paris Nord station. The public and commercial areas of Paris Est station will remain open.

04/07/2024 - Since the landslide in the Maurienne valley on August 27, 2023, SNCF Voyageurs teams in France and Italy have been working together to maintain the international Paris-Milan link by setting up a road substitution service on the part of the line closed to rail traffic. A road shuttle service has been set up between Saint-Jean de Maurienne and Oulx, starting on January 10, 2024. SNCF Voyageurs is the only operator to have set up an end-to-end transport offer during this difficult period, ensuring continuity of service for its customers between France and Italy. And new this summer, the Modane station will once again be served.

10/06/2024 - SNCF Energie, a subsidiary of SNCF Voyageurs, announces that in May 2024 it signed a 25-year direct purchase agreement (PPA) for renewable electricity with Neoen, France's leading independent producer of renewable energy. Starting in 2028, the electricity will be generated by Neoen's new 139 MWp solar power plant, which will supply SNCF Voyageurs with 172 gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable electricity every year.

06/05/2024 - SNCF Energie, a subsidiary of SNCF Voyageurs, and the VALOREM Group, an independent French operator in green energies, announce the signing of a 25-year direct purchase agreement for renewable electricity (Corporate PPA). Through this long-term commitment, VALOREM undertakes to finalize the construction of a wind farm during 2024, and to supply SNCF Energie with 93 gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable electricity per year from its Cheniers wind farm in the Marne region, the largest wind farm to be covered by a PPA.
SNCF Voyageurs unveils the livery of the future TGV INOUI in Alstom's factories
04/29/2024 - Last industrial stage before the commercial and customer phase, SNCF Voyageurs presents, this April 29, in the Alstom factories in Belfort, the livery of the future TGV INOUI (5th generation equipment called TGV M) which will set off, in the second half of 2025, on the Sud axis. The future TGV INOUI, which has been undergoing trials on the Réseau Ferré National since June 2023, reveals a little more about its design, entrusted to the teams of AREP, a multidisciplinary French agency with expertise in mobility, and Nendo, a Japanese design agency.

12/03/2024 - Since June 2022, SNCF Voyageurs has been working alongside Aviation Sans Frontières through a partnership agreement to provide young patients with travel on TGV INOUI, OIUGO or INTERCITÉS trains. Since the first contacts with SNCF Voyageurs' TGVINTERCITÉS activity, Aviation Sans Frontières has been able to take care of nearly 170 patients, accompanying them to and from their places of care and reception.

11/03/2024 - TGV INOUI, OUIGO and INTERCITÉS open their summer sales on Wednesday March 13. With TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS, customers will have access to bookings for tickets between July 6 and September 11. With OUIGO, they will be able to book tickets until December 14, 2024. SNCF Voyageurs is continuing to strengthen its offer this summer to meet the demand for rail travel, with 400,000 more TGV INOUI seats than last summer. A good reason for customers to start planning summer vacations or heading to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
